AFW arrival

My order from asia-fashion-wholesale.com came! :D I am so happy! Everything came packed really tight, so my mom and I were wondering if everything was there. But we got everything, except one purse must have gone out of stock before they could email me about it :/ and one dress I ordered did go out of stock but they emailed me so I could add something else to the order to make up for it.

I am in love with EVERYTHING oh man. The quality exceeded my expectations, I had looked up reviews for them and some people had a good experiences some had really bad experiences. I will say that I would order from them again! The shipping really gets you though, but it was worth it.

This was a little tight... but I still got in it so it's do-able :P It came out more like a tunic than a dress, but either way it's REALLY cute, looks like the picture. 

THIS IS MY FAVORITE oh my gosh. Ahhhhh. It is the most adorable dress ever ; u ; it looks BETTER than the picture irl. It's made out of a nice soft fabric that's also kind of thick. Quality, oh snap. I was worried it would be a little tight like the other but it fits perfectly. So beyond pleased with this <3333

I got this since the striped dress went out of stock, but I am so happy with this I don't even care anymore. When I saw it on the site I thought "oh this will just be like a top or something it won't be long enough" nope, it's very much a dress :D It's made out of a rather clingy fabric but the ruffles kind of hide the lumps and bumps. Sweet Business. 

I am in love with this like... you don't even know. It is mega cute and soft and I just can't get enough of this vest. :)

This purse ended up being a little smaller than I imagined but it was still really cute :D and since I don't carry all too much anyway it's perfect. 

So cuuute ; u ; I love it, the black against the white with the little gold bits are just... augh no words

Here are the insides of the purses, all very nice and well put together. 

My mom has the red and brown purses. She loves them as well :) 

This sweater vest had a thread sewn from by the tag into the back... um... yeah. But I cut it and now I'm very pleased with this, it's very thick and looks just like the photo. :) just that it needs a good iron.

Last is this super cute belt <3 I was really hoping this would fit and I'm glad it did. 

Put a little outfit together with the dress and vest. <3 ... I need an new mirror that sits in my room, there's better lighting in there :I

So... AFW is pretty much amazing... s'all I have to say. But dat shippin' ... it's a little high.... but so very worth it.

E.L.F and Madame Madeline

So my order from E.L.F finally came... I'm moderately pleased. :P Then again, when things are a super cheap... really shouldn't complain. I also ordered some falsies and glue from Madame Madeline. 

Here's all that came, and the card has an 8% off discount... which... since the lashes were only $1.99 I don't really need it.

Brush on gluuuue. <3 I love this already. It goes on clear, doesn't smell horrid, and there is no risk of a sticky accident all over my lashes. 

Top lashes! These are SO nice for $1.99 just... wow they are so soft and I don't even feel them when I put them on. Cause you know there are those ones, those ones where no matter how long you wear them you feel them, not a good thing. 

Here are the bottom lashes. I had to cut them a bit, but still really great for the price. :)

Now for the E.L.F items!

1. on the upper left is the Eyebrow Treat and Tame, works pretty good. The Treat end is much lighter than my eyebrows... but actually I'm kind of glad, it kind of makes them look a little softer. Good deal!

2. Below that is the eyeliner brush, love it. I've needed on of those so badly and it's good quality for $1... or at least it gets the job done.

3. Next is the eyelid primer, eh... it's okay. Does what it's supposed to *shrug* nothing to rave about.

4. Next is the eyeshadow quad in Nymph Dreams, pretty shimmery colors. Nicely pigmented... but they do crease after a while :/

 5. Next to the eyeshadow is some cream eyeliner, it's good. Nice and creamy, not clumpy or messy.

6. Now for the liquid lipstick... which is more like lip gloss if you ask me.. but it's still nice, it's a pretty color. This one is in strawberry.

7. Super glossy lip shine in candlelight... I put this on this morning, and while it does smell amazing like candy it was friggin' STICKY! ewww sticky lipgloss. But I just thinned it out with some clear gloss and things were all good.

8. Next is the facial whip in persimmon... it smells yummy too like oranges :) but... It's a bit too frosty for cheeks in my opinion so I'll use it as eyeshadow or lipgloss. 

9. This is the foundation brush, I used it to put concealer under my eyes... works good.

10. Blush in flushed... I was very disappointed with this, it looked a little bit more pink on the site :/ but it's okay.

11. Also a bit disappointed, it comes off more like a bronzer... not that it's really a bad thing...

For both 10 & 11 the packaging pisses me off :I I'm usually patient but these things took me a while to get open. They do not lift open like most blush, they slide out...which is a noble idea IF IT WORKS. They always pop out and decide to fly across the room or onto the floor. VERY annoying.

12. All over face stick in toffee, I used this under my eyes, pretty good coverage.

13. Mist and set spray stuff for your makeup, it smells like dirty dish water in my opinion :/ and kind of doesn't work for me... ah well it was cheap so I got what I paid for I guess.

14. This is eyeliner in stardust, the glitter is bigger than I thought it'd be but it's not that bad.

Over all I'm used to their products, they sell them at Target and I'm seeing it in Dollar General... so I kinda knew what to expect for the most part.

Here are some items I have bought from this brand before. The eyeshadow is in Drama, I really like this one :) the white is matte which I love, but the darkest silver has huge pieces of glitter so theres a lot of glitter to wipe off afterwards. 

The plumping lipgloss... doesn't really plump. The clear end just tingles like plumping lipgloss would... but I love the color of the gloss end it's baby doll.

To the side is an angled brush, total face brush, and an eyeshadow brush, very good brushes I think.

Ohhh yes I got some for their body butter in milk & honey. This stuff is like HEAVEN it smells so good, all light and delicate.

After my order from AFW comes in I'll be taking a much needed ordering hiatus. The semester is coming to an end and I'll need money for books and more supplies for my upcoming classes in January.

Though... I would buy myself a camera... this one I got years ago is just utter crap now... but I guess I'll make due. Or I'll just use my phone. 

Giving wholesale a try

I've always wanted to order something from http://asia-fashion-wholesale.com so I finally had a chance to. My mom and I agreed to split the cost since the shipping gets very expensive. DIYs and Recent Buys

 Oh fashion, you are expensive but you look so good. What can I do to get the most fashionable trends for the lowest prices...? OH YES! I can make my clothes look how I want them too. This week has sort of been DIY week. I made myself a pair of distresses jeans with a pair I had in my closet.

I took a pair of Miley Cyrus/Max Azria skinny jeans, rolled up a towel and stuffed it into one leg so I wouldn't cut the other side and so bleach wouldn't leak onto the back of the jeans. I snipped them along the leg making long and short horizontal cuts, I also took a cheese greater and rubbed them with it to tear them up a bit more.

I dabbed them with bleach to give them an even more distressed look

and the finished product is perfectly slashed, bleached, and frayed to perfection.

I recently went to Burlington coat factory :D I love that store, I'm still so excited about my fuzzy hat and hot pink booties. Above is the hat and below are the booties. 

Next is another DIY, I recently made another order with ebonyline.com. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them, their shipping is FAST and the products are great. It only took two days to receive my order and the hair I ordered is human hair which was only $7.99 for 10 inches and $13.99 for 12 inches.

Here's everything! I also ordered scissors, weaving thread, a needle, and clips.

 

Here's the hair :D the longer weave said it was the same color on the package as the other hair but it was a bit lighter, but I'm not disappointed.

I've always wanted clip in extensions just for fun, but they were always seriously priced... so I did some looking around and found a tutorial on how to make your own on youtube

 I measured the pieces of hair to different sections of my head and cut them. 

The bang piece before I trimmed it, I just thought it looked funny. I almost looked like Cousin It

Here are the bangs all trimmed... with my fuzzy hat again. 

For the longer pieces I did the same thing I did with the bangs, but just put them on the very back of my head near my neck to get a sort of fading two toned look. Someone would think it's scene or ghetto, but I love it to pieces no matter what anyone says. :P

Burlington Coat Factory pieces~ My mom bought me a lovely jacket and aside from the hat and booties, I bought a pair of skinny jeans.

I'm STILL waiting for my order from E.L.F... and I'm getting kind of impatient >:C it took a week for them to even to ship the order and it's taking another week to get here. I've ordered from a lot of places but nothing has been this slow. Maybe it's because the products are so cheap... in that case I really should be patient... but still.

Makeup and falsies! :D

 My order from ebonyline.com came! I am so happy... well a pair of the falsies I ordered went out of stock but that's okay. Here's what I got.

First off is a rat tail comb... nothing special. Then in the little blue compact is Ruby Kisses Blemish Control Powder. Sometimes it's hard to find powder that's in a dark enough shade in a good brand for me, and I was willing to give this a try. I'm so very glad I did, it has great coverage and blends well. The color is Chestnut, which matches my skin color perfectly. Next in the light green compact is Kiss Colors Acne cover and control cream foundation. The coverage again is great! :) I've got a few dark spots and it does a good job of covering them. The color is Neutral Cool 20. Finally it's just some falsies... I love false eye lashes so this was a must. They have a clear band so they look like they blend a little more. They say they're human hair, and they feel pretty sturdy. 

I'll end with this cute card they sent. It's a thank you and a 10% discount on your next order. I'm definitely buying from them again! I am pleased as peaches. 

Mario Badescu!

The package my mom got me from Mario Badescu came today! :) I am so happy and I really hope they work as good has I've heard they can.

Phone pictures today... I didn't feel like fiddling with my camera and all of that. But I'm so surprised this picture is really clear. 

Moving on, here we've got the drying lotion(first little bottle). It's a pink liquid with lots of...stuff on the bottom lol. They say 'sediment' but whatever. This stuff smells TERRIBLE oh gosh. But one thing I did like was that the ingredients list was not long and there were no words with more letters put together longer than the alphabet. Makes me feel like it would be good for my skin.... then again I'm no dermatologist so who am I to talk. I'll use this and see what it does for me :) hopefully it will help tame these annoying little bouts of acne.

Next is the Control Moisturizer for Oily Skin. I have oily skin so... it was worth giving a try. Sometimes I get moisturizers for oily skin and they either: 

1. Don't work.
2. Make my face appear more oily than before
3. 1 and 2 combined and I break out on my T-zones

I'm crossing my fingers on this one. I did a little test on my hand, and my hand was not any shiner and it didn't feel slick, but it still felt moisturized.

Last is the Healing & Soothing Mask. This smells like oatmeal and play-doh... but that's just an observation that's not really important. I'll have to see how this does much like the other stuff.

Fuzzy picture... Each order you get to pick 3 samples. WHOA FREE STUFF. Only two are mine, my mom wanted the little bottle of Apricot lotion they sent so... since she paid for it who am I to say no? But I will say that it smells sooooooo good, I want to eat it. I'm smarter than that though, I assure you. Anyway, what I have is the Acne Cleanser and the Almond Honey scrub. Both smell good, mostly the scrub... I could smell it all day. The size of both is just adorable, but it's enough to get a feel for the product I think.

This is the little bag the samples came it, I thought it was just too cute. 

We made this order last week, so the shipping ended up being quite fast(to me I dunno if there is any faster). I'm pleased and if this stuff works miracles I will defiantly buy from them again.

Now I'm just waiting for my E.L.F(eyes lips face) order and a new order I made last night from Ebonyline.com
